Rodgers Builders selected the Jenkins team to provide a full sitework package for construction of the new Piedmont Charter High School in Gastonia, NC. The 43 acre site included earthwork for a new building, parking lot and athletic fields. Jenkins worked closely with Rodgers to uphold safety and performance requirements to ensure a finished product that is on budget and on schedule.
Piedmont Charter School serves about 1,300 students in all, with a mission of being a tuition-free K-12 school that offers a superior college preparatory education option for area families. The vast majority of its students live in Gaston County. The new campus is set to open for the 2020-2021 school year.
