Apartment Complex

Project Summary: 

Southwood Realty, with over 70 communities served by more than 500 employees hired John E. Jenkins, Inc.  to provide a turnkey sitework package for the construction of an apartment complex in Lincolnton. 

Our scope of work included the following; clearing, grading, demolition, storm drainage, water and sewer lines, curb and gutter, paving, erosion control, road widening, milling, water line, and force main. 

Site construction of the Palisades of Lincolnton Apartments was completed on time and within budget in the Spring of 2018.

 Project Highlights: 

• 50,000 cubic yards of dirt managed through cut-to-fill grading operations
• 2,000 LF storm drainage installed
• 1,900 LF of sanitary sewer installed
• 3,000 LF of water line installed
• Layout, excavation, and backfill of 1,100 LF modular block retaining wall.
• 7,500 LF of curb and gutter
• Onsite Asphalt Paving: 
  • ABC Tonnage: 6,000 Tons 
  • Initial Surface (S9.5B): 1,800 Tons 
  • Final Surface (S9.5B): 1,500 Tons 
• NCDOT Asphalt Road Widening
